SCGA CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

6TH SCGA WOMEN’S MID-AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

9th SCGA SENIOR WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

All participants must have: 1) an active SCGA Membership and 2) a Golf Genius profile to register for an event.

 

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMATS:

  • 36 holes; stroke play.
  • Up to 84 players will compete in the two championships.
  • All Senior Women will automatically be included in the Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship, held concurrently.
  • Additionally, a Super Senior contestant (age 65 or older) with the low 36-hole total will be awarded.

 

Monday, June 8: Round 1 (18 holes)

Tuesday, June 9: Round 2 (18 holes)

 

WOMEN’S MID-AMATEUR ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to female amateurs who are members of a current SCGA member club with a Handicap Index of 9.4 or less at the time of registration. Entrants must have reached their 25th birthday by June 8, 2026. 

 

SENIOR WOMEN’S AMATEUR ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to amateurs who are members of a current SCGA member club with a Handicap Index of 14.4 or less at the time of registration. Entrants must have reached their 50th birthday by June 8, 2026. All players will compete using gross scores.

 

ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 7, 2026

 

ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, May 31, 2026

 

CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages, will be emailed and posted on scga.org  after the entry deadline.

TRANSPORTATION: Golf carts are optional at the player’s expense. There will be a maximum of two carts per group and two bags per cart. Players wishing to ride will be expected to share a cart with another player. 

 

ENTRY FEE: $250

 

LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming there is still space available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and can only be processed over the phone or through email. 

 

REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds before the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours before the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
